Tala Rae Schlossberg is an American experimental artist known for her distinct animated style, original voice and inventive storytelling. Her animation practice merges rhythm, wordplay, and systems of logic to construct entirely new ways of seeing. Schlossberg’s distinctive visual language—at once ironic, pastoral, and incisively original—reimagines the relationship between image, meaning, and motion.
Schlossberg’s work has been commissioned by institutions such as The New York Times, Substack, MoMA, Burberry, Substack, Patagonia, Planned Parenthood, The Nature Conservancy and she has created visual work for musicians such as John Cale, The Rolling Stones and Devo.
From 2022–2024, she co-directed Two Toes Creative, a collaborative studio with Kika MacFarlane, dedicated to visual storytelling.
Her video works have recently been exhibited across Madrid, Porto, Beijing, Paris, Chicago, and Miami during Art Basel, and projected large-scale onto the Manhattan Bridge in New York City
