Known for her visceral oil portraits and richly layered tones, Gill Button is a fashion world favorite. Her landmark collaboration with Dries van Noten included 1,200 hand-painted invitations for their Fall 2016 Paris show, runway makeup inspired by her work, and a traveling exhibition that accompanied the collection. This collaboration continued with the launch of Dries’ Beauty and Fragrance and Gill’s work serves as the visual foundation for those collections.
Gill has illustrated the covers of Coco Mellors’ bestselling novels, Cleopatra & Frankenstein and Blue Sisters. Based in the UK, she graduated with honors from Kingston University, London.
