Indiana-born Julie Houts studied at The Art Institute of Chicago, graduated from Parsons School of Design, and worked as a full-time womenswear designer at J.Crew before settling in Brooklyn, New York. Equal parts illustrator and lampoonist, Julie uses her mastery of the fashion arts to tell wry, succinct stories, resulting in a tartly modern body of work. Her first book, Literally Me, was released in autumn 2017.
