BIO

Ojima Abalaka is an artist making sense of home and belonging in a practice that connects myth, personal history and play.

Through memory, and in conversation with portraiture, nature and the built environment, she creates in homage to the warmth of colour and magic of the mundane.

For the sake of beauty.
