Carolina Moscoso comes from Portugal where she earned a degree in architecture from The University of Lisbon. In 2010 she visited New York to do an illustration residency at SVA and has, since then, established herself as both a self-taught illustrator and a New Yorker. Her drawings evoke cinematic atmospheres and speak to the everyday life of domestic spaces. Her process is closely influenced by her problem-solving mindset and attention to detail, inherited from her past life as an architect.
